I'm feeling very blessed and grateful (blog post)

 Tonight, I'm just feeling very grateful, in general, and just blessed. I'm sitting here watching Mike Matei stream on Twitch. It's a great stream. Everyone's joking around, and it's just a really fun time. We got some rain today as well, so that makes me really grateful, too. Rain is something that doesn't come all the time, so it's a real treat and something to really savor and enjoy while it lasts. 😅

Blessings are everywhere


There are always things around to be grateful for. Even just having a cup of coffee, or the air in your lungs. Or your family and friends. Those are all great blessings we should appreciate every day. If you really look around, it's easy to find a blessing right in front of your face.

Stop and appreciate

Sometimes, when my mood is bad or if I'm depressed, I will remember to "stop and look around". That will give me a quick reset and help me focus on all the good around me. Sometimes, that's all it takes to reframe your situation and realize how much good there is. You never have to stay in a negative mindset.

Many studies have shown that people who are more grateful tend to be a lot happier and more satisfied with life, as well as experience better physical, emotional, and mental health. They can also handle stress a lot better, and overall live a better lifestyle with healthier behaviors. 

In addition, they typically have better relationships as well. As you can see, gratitude can improve your life in a multitude of ways! So it is definitely worth it to try to learn how to practice gratitude and just have a better attitude overall. At the end of the day, we all want to have a better life and just be happier.
